Power Mac 4400 Hard Drive Removal

Going a bit old fashioned on ya'all, but I'm trying to remove the hard drive from this unit because the 2 gig in it is totally dead. I've removed the outer case and the plastic faceplate, but I'm lost in trying to get any further. I'm probably about an hour from taking a dremel to it ;-). Anyone that has messed with this machine's input would be great!

Thank you!

One of the oddest computers in Apple's history. I remember seeing one in pieces on the side of the road once and thinking the case layout was very strange. Perhaps if you posted a pic or two we could help you figure it out.

I had one of those

It's a LOT easier than it looks. Facing the front of the machine you see the cdrom on the right (looks a bit odd iirc :P)

The Hard Disk is on a caddy to the right of the cdrom, to take it out, pull it upwards, it even has a handle on it. Then remove the four screws, swap cables, and replace

It may also have a fixing screw or two though...
