Looks like a Raspberry Pi.

Correct-A Raspi

Hi Mike,

Yup, it is a Raspi.  Its job is to provide the terminal emulation and power to the device.

It is just a plain jane Raspian build for the Pi v1A.  I boot that, and use the composite out to a monitor.  Another option is to VNC in and run a terminal emulator on the Raspi.

It can actually be any computer that can be the terminal emulator and display intermediate.  I just had an old Pi sitting around and it fit well.

The box is just an attempte to capture the "feel" of the early Apple 1 homemade enclosures while still allowing it to be displayed on a shelf.
