I follow the toy industry, a bit, for professional reasons, so I saw this announcement. Lego's new robot system set, Mindstorm Nxt, comes with Mac drivers. I think that it is the first incarnation to do so, though I understand that the last version had OS X support available for download. Also, this new version comes with a 32-bit processor, bluetooth, and USB 2.0 interfaces. It retails for $249. I'm developing lego lust. . . .

In the above post I did not type "Evil Block Company" I typed "Removed -BDub". What gives administrators!?!?!?! Nor did I type "EBC" in the title of the post.

Not a bug. Rather specifically implemented in our filters actually.
We don't use that term here.
-BDub
The name of the company in question is automatically replaced with "Evil Block Company". EBC's lawyers are very busy and we must all do our part to prevent trademark infringement.
If you'd like more information, write the Evil Block Company and ask them to send you literature on the proper use of their trademark. I have three books on the subject, which they've kindly donated.

. . . Thanks for the fuller explanation. I understand the problem now.
There was once a truly advanced graphics software company that wrote some great stuff for Apple ]{'s, named Penguin Software. They were sued by Penguin Publishing, and after great expense, time and trouble, were forced to change their name. . . they chose to change it to PolarWare. Anyway, I don't want to see anything like this to happen to the 'fritter.

Interesting enough I find it hilarious.
