I'm sure it would be a breeze in OS 9, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it with OS X, or if I even CAN. Went into Displays in the sys prefs, but it had nothing about a video output :/ Does anyone have any idea about this, or is the Wings Personality card I went to the trouble of getting totally worthless in OS X?

I know that the AV in dosn't work, dont know 'bout the av out though
doesn't work in what, os x? That's kinda retarded... there's no video capture program that might be able to access it?
Yep - no Wings card video compatibility in OS X.
You're stuck with using OS 9 to access it. Apple said that OS X was compatible with 'any computer with a G3 or better processor' but neglected to mention that their definition of 'compatible' was rather flexible.
There's lots of cheap copies of Strata Videoshop around - for a while Apple was bundling it with OS 7.5 or 7.6, and it works very well with the Wings card.
Even if you could get X to see the card, due to the card's design and the G3 you're running it on, you likely wouldn't get better video quality than you'd get with Strata or some other OS 9 alternative.
Avid Cinema... I have the 7.6.1 cd that has the Avid Cinema on it Plus I have Avid Videoshop itself because I got the apple tv tuner card, the one that has 1 card that's RCA a/v and s-video input, and then the other card that is a TV tuner and FM radio...those are both in my 6500.
Well this is pretty stupid...I get a nice new computer, with all these plans for different things because now I can us OSX and have potential greater compatibility (maybe even video compression in DIVX AVIs)...and it doesn't even recognize standard hardware.
I hate you OS X.
Wile your at it, try the floppy drive in OS X some time.
