... just that ... sometimes it's handy to be notified of replies to a topic. Or at least it was.

The subscribe module is installed, but turned off.
There's a chance BDub turned it off because of some incompatibility he noticed. If that's not the case, we'll re-enable it as soon as I hear from him.
...I wondered the same thing a few weeks back. I figured it was on of those 'it has a bit of overhead - lets turn it off and see who complains' things.
Kinda like when those printed reports from the mainframe stop showing up and none of the departments gripe and the company suddenly saves 18 large in paper and resources to deliver the stuff that gets goes right to the recycle bin.
If it gets turned back on, will our old subscriptions be in place or is it a clean slate?
It's back on. Old subscriptions are still in place. Let me know if anything breaks.
I have been looking forward to this coming back!
Is there any way to change the subject line on the subscription update email notifications?
An example:
[Applefritter] thread subscription update for Reverend Darkness : your favorite macs
Maybe I'm just being picky, but that's long... any way to shorten it up to something like:
Applefritter Thread Update : your favorite macs
???
I think I've got it. If anyone has trouble with their subscriptions, let me know.
Should now read:
Applefritter Update: your favorite macs
-BW
Thanks for all of your hard work, BDub.
