Hey all...
I lost Disc 2 of my friend's Jaguar CDs. Luckily, I have the disk image of the CD on my iBook. How can I make the image onto a bootable CD? I'm not stealing... I own Panther and Jaguar -- just Mike gave me some of his CDs, and I need to give him a Disc 2 back.

Disc 2 isn't bootable. Disc 1 holds all the system files and install utilities, disc 2 is the extra stuff like applications and printer drivers
OK... so how'd I go about making Disc 1 bootable? I might as well burn both while I've got the one.
I don't think there is anything difrent about making it bootable, all you have to do is just clone the disk with toast.
isnt there a checkbox in toast that you have to click to make it bootable :?

There maybe, but when I made by backup discs all I did was duplicate the disc (dual optical drives) in disc copy. I'd assuming its the same for a disc image and toast. And if you fail you loose what a dime? CD-Rs are dirt cheap
From what copying/backup fo discs that I have done, if you clone the disc at the DRIVE level, and not just the file-system, you'll get the bootable sectors into the copy/image. If you copy only the file system, then you just get the files, and not the boot blocks.
