using Apple Pro mouse on Win PC

I recently hooked up an Apple Pro mouse to my Windows PC after my Logictech mouse took a poop* on me. It works great but I'm missing the right click function. Being a Mac user I'm use to the click and hold or CTRL click function, is there any way to program my Windows PC to opt this function with my Apple Pro mouse ?

Yes, you can do it but its so

Yes, you can do it but its somewhat of a pain.

First of all, you need one of those windows keyboards, (no classic Model M keyboards), it needs those speical windows keys on it. Anyway what you do is hold down the context key (my context key is the one just to the left of the rightmost shift key.). You then can try left clicking on something once, then hitting and releaseing that key.

It seems to work but its rather clunky, it doesn't work 100 percent as expected for me.

Anyone else have any cool ideas?

Apple mouse

One can do it with a utility that I have...I have forgoten the name. It lets you use the control key to access the right button, just like in Mac os X / 9. Its good at doing the job and as far as I know free.

Email me and I'll send it to you...

Holy old thread, batman. H

Holy old thread, batman.

However, to use a apple pro mouse on xp, you plug in the usb plug into the usb port, wait a few minutes for windows to detect it and then it just works (its autodetected in windows).
