RAM Compatibility

I'm completely confused, and I'm hoping a soul more knowledgable than myself can help me out.

I'm trying to figure out what RAM is compatible with what machines. I know that if you stick with the same type (IE: PC-2100 to PC-2100) that everything will work fine. However, I have a few questions about this:

First, can I put, say PC-3200 into a machine that calls for PC-2100? I know you can put PC133 in a machine that calls for PC100, but I'm wondering if it's the same here?

Second, what's the difference between PC-2100 and RDRAM? They've both got 184 pins (IIRC). Are they compatible.

Cheers,

The Czar

Yup..

You *could* substitute PC3200 for PC2100, but lord knows why you'd want to.

As for the second question...someone less lazy can answer it. Smile
