Well, it seems my father-in-law went to anther unclaimed freight auction and came away with some unusual hardware. One of the things seems to be a Smart Card Emulator from the old www.dssdealers.com site. Probably the Atomic Emulator and they say "001-V2" so they might have been newer versions. Anyway, I'd like to know if anyoen knows anything about these, particularly anything else they could be used for, ie. security access cards, or anything else that uses a four pad serial smart card like DSS. THe cards are very simple, just the PCB with a MAXIM MAX232CPE and te caps and a power LED, and an RJ-45 serial jack. The cards all have an RJ-45 patch cable and an RJ-45 -> 9-pin serial adapter. Any ideas.
