I'm servicing a couple of Disk II (Shugart) drives that I have. One seems to lost it's little tiny ball for the stepping plate/tab which presses down in to the track of the stepping wheel/disk.
Anybody who knows which size that little ball has or know of a source who have them?
TIA!
Do you have another one you can measure with a caliper?
Actually I do but then I have to disassemble a lot which might bring alignment issues perhaps? But worst case scenarion I could do that.

That would have been sweet but when you look closer you see that they have the parts split and only 4-5 parts are left from that lot.
But, thanks anyway! :-)
I had the same problem with the ball bearing 'dislodged' from the pressing plate in an Apple Disk II drive.
I replaced the ball bearing with one bought from Aliexpress, 1.5mm Diameter Grade G25. Carefully put the ball bearing under the plate where there is a hole to hold it. But the pressing plate was a bit weak to hold the ball into the track, hence i had to use a spring (similar to one from a ball pen) to press the plate. Soldered the spring in place.
Tested to work so far.
In case someone else had the same problem.
