ROM SIMM $077D$28 for PM9500

My 9500 came to me without its $077D$28 ROM SIMM and it won’t fire up without it. Macs that have this SIMM are:
Power Mac 7200/75/90/120/120PC
Power Mac 7215/90
Power Mac 7500
Power Mac 7600/120/132
Power Mac 8200/100/200
Power Mac 8500/120/132/150/180
Power Mac 8515/120
Power Mac 9500/120/132/150/180MP/200
Power Mac 9515/132
If you have the ROM SIMM I need, please indicate whether it is tested and working, or untested and its functionality unknown. Thank you.

ROM is normally soldered to the MLB . . .

on PCI PowerMacs, so probably your 9500 is not starting because of some other issue.

I accept there may be some machines out there without soldered-on ROMs, but I've yet to see, hear, read, whatever, about them.

There is ROM soldered to the mobo, but the 9500 and several others also require a ROM SIMM, according to apple. Apple even cautions against removing the ROM SIMM from the mobo for any reason. The socket for it is up among the RAM DIMM sockets. The apple service manual for the 9500 shows it, too. That's all I know. Most 9600s don't use a ROM SIMM, but at least one model does. At least that's what I'm told.
