So I'm tossing out some things that should have been discarded years ago, old paperwork and the like, and I come across my pile of Apple issued manuals and doc.s, including the "Software Coupons for Mac OS X v10.4. Did they include these with 10.5? If so why? What is the practical application of giving four of these things with the OS? Anyone. . . anyone?
Has anyone used these, ever?
To quote the card "Important:Do not discard these coupons. Only original coupons can be used as proof of purchase. Copies will not be accepted."

P.S. Steve Jobs . . . Watch OUT! I'm throwing my coupons away !!! WHEEEEEEEEE !!!! I feel so liberated now. Now that's sticking it to the MAN!
I remember way back when Apple gave away the OS X 10.1 update, you needed to hand over a coupon. I also believe that, if you buy a new Mac within a couple weeks of a major OS X release, you're entitled to a free upgrade (and again, need to hand over a coupon).
