Hey guys, its been a while since i've posted, but I figured someone might be able to help me.
I'm doing a fairly common hack, that turns a standard Xbox controller into a USB HID device. The Xbox controllers are natively USB, so all you really need to do is solder a standard USB connector onto the end of the cable. Seems simple enough, right? The problem i'm having is whenever I plug this contraption into my macbook, it causes a kernel panic, and freezes the whole thing up.
When I boot into Unbuntu, and watch the system log as I plug the USB cable in, it recognizes it, and there are no problems. Why the freak-out in OSX?
