Big screw up on Beige Power Mac G3. Need serious help.

I recently bought a Power Macintosh G3 all in one at a yard sale. I installed Mac OS 9.1. It was working fine so I shut it down. Then later I turn it back on, and it shows the floppy with ? in the middle. I put in the install disk, and the hard drive icon doesn't show. I don't know what happened to it. If anyone can tell me how to fix this problem, please respond.

I don't think it's fixed.

I really don't think it's fixed, I think the battery that keeps the clock and other stuff running is dead and I need to replace it.

The battery you need is available from your local RadioShack. Pop the old one out, and bring it with you.

Made a custom battery pack

I created a custom battery pack. Grabbed a x2 double A battery holder and hooked it up to the original battery socket. Works fine.
