I have Mac OS 7.6 running on my Quadra 950 w 128 Mb ram. Every time I try to expand a archive it FREEZES the computer. I have tried to find a earlier version of Stuffit Expander but have had no such luck. any suggestions?

You don't say if its expander or deluxe. I may be wrong but 5.5 should be fine for system 7.6 (you upgraded to 7.6.1 right?) I would reinstall, chuck the preferences and see if you can make it run. Freezing like that could also be a conflict. Can you use extension manager to shut off non apple inits?

I have Stuffit Expander. Running 7.6.1 . I think DropZip 5.5D was causing it to crash.
