combo drive screwed up

right now i'm trying to burn a cd-r, and the drive won't let me access the disk. the messages reads: "the disc could not be opened because the disc drive is not supported. (error code 0x80020025). i have no idea what went wrong or where. i've used disks fromt the same pack before with no issue, and it's just now doing this to me.
