My iMacDVD, 400 MHz HD died with little warning. Started "clip clopping". Bought uesd apple HDs off of eBay. The idiot who took them out of the old machines wiped the boot blocks. My iMac report the presence of the drive but my install disk (neither OS 9 nor OS 10) will see the disk, and disk tools does not see. Anyone know how to format the drive? I've got ethernet avialble and usb floppy and 100 mb zip as well as the DVD internal.
