So I got that Rev 7 board with all the missing sockets and am about to attempt to restore it. I am wondering if anyone knows of a source for correct sockets.. or if I should just make do with the generic new ic sockets I have kicking around?
It's an odd board for sure. The 74ls02n socket in the breadboard area appears to have been socketed in the way a hobbyist might have rather than the more permanent and intentional way it was done on the RFI boards. You can still see two of the 'holes' in the former breadboard space itnoccupies unused. And there are a bunch of wires from it too. Be interesting to see if itll flash up.
