Hi,
Recently my macintosh classic ii stopped turning on. I found out it was the power jack on the mac and re-soldered it. Now the mac turns on but gives me what looks like a SimasiMac. except i have never seen the screen pattern on the internet. The pattern consits of, on the left, 4 close together thin black lines then 4 spaced out thin black lines, it repeats 8 times(not flashing onto the screen, it shows all eight from left to right at the same time) also, i cleaned the motherboard, even though there is no capacitor leakage.
any help would be appreciated,
narwhal2
ps
pictures are attachements, cant figure out how to put them in the text area
Could be the PRAM battery needs replacing. Checked the voltage?
yes. i stuck a know good battery in too. also i now sometimes get a white block in the center of the screen. cant reproduce it though, just happens randomly
