READY PLAYER ][ - The Great Apple II BBS Tour
The Sysops of some of the remaining Apple II BBS's are announcing „ READY PLAYER ][ - The Great Apple II BBS Tour" contest where users will solve puzzles on each BBS. It's kinda like a retro-version of Ready Player One! Once a user has discovered the password from each BBS, they'll get to claim a prize. Multiple prizes will be awarded including a CFFA-3000, an Apple IIGS, a $75 discount code from ReactiveMicro, and much more!
The contest is set to start January 1st, but now's your chance to familiarize yourself with the BBS's before the contest begins. Here are the participating BBS's:
A 80's Apple II BBS - telnet://a80sappleiibbs.ddns.net:6502
Captain's Quarters - telnet://cqbbs.ddns.net:6502
Dura-Europos - telnet://dura-bbs.net:6359
Full details of the contest and instructions will be on each BBS.
Happy hacking!

Don't have your old computer online? Here's how to connect:
The easiest way is to use a terminal program like SyncTERM on your modern computer here:
http://syncterm.bbsdev.net
Or use TCPser on a Raspberry Pi with a null modem cable as described here with your old computer:

Or just plug in the WiModem232:

Is there any other way to connect the modem to my iie ?
Maybe th eregular non super serial card ?
Yes, you can use the old Apple Communication Card - I do that also with my Apple II - so far I tested it with VisiTerm and Data Capture and it works fine!
