Hey guys.
A while ago, I had an Apple iie board fail on me and one of the problems was this chip.
Also, four capacitors were also busted.
I can get the capacitors but this chip is harder.
Does anyone have one laying around that they are willing to part with?
I'd be grateful.
insanitor,
LOL
You just had to ask for the one chip
that is not socketed in every IIe
that I own, didn't you?
I went through every IIe board I have
and every one of the 344-0010 chips
are soldered directly to the MB.
Is you chip socketed?
Steven
I have a platinum logic board and an older revision logic board and both MMU chips are not soldered to the logic board.
The third logic board I have I have not taken a look as of yet.
But worry not!
I will soon think of something which you can do to help me.
Still looking for this.
Hey Insanitor,
I think I do to match the IOU I just sent out. PM me with our address.
Jay
PM sent.
I happened to finally get to my stash of IIe
motherboards. I found out a peculiar thing.
Some MBs have socketed MMUs and IOUs and some don't.
Some are even stranger, with a socketed MMU and non-socketed
IOU and vice-versa.
If you need another MMU, I have one packaged and ready to go.
Just PM me your address if you want a spare.
Steven
