It looks to me it can't be replaced since the switch itself cannot be disassembled but just in case I decided to ask here too. Thank you.

I believe you have to replace the switch.
Those switches are really basic. I'd recommend just get a new one.

They come in other colors too, and you can get them just about anywhere. Even at places like autozone!

Thank you. The links you provided are for 12V DC LED illuminated switches but I need a 220V AC illuminated switch. Nevertheless thank you for the information.
if you pull the old switch, you may be able to find a manufacturers ID, model number or patent #. From there you can probably find an exact replacement. It's simply amazing how long that these basic switches and connectors have stayed in production. Most parts are still available from stock at Digikey, Mouser or one of the other major distributors.
