I've turned on the smilies list block during post-writing time. Comments?

So they're now below the accepted HTML tags list - but without instructions on what to hit to bring them up IMAGE(http://www.applefritter.com/sandbox/misc/smileys/puzzled.png) short of dragging and dropping them into image tags.

Use javascript like the YABB

Use javascript like the YABB forums do to make it possible to click them to add to the body of text.

some time

Currently, you can mouse over them to see what they are.

Tom told me to "quit worrying about the smilies" so they're a lower priority right now Blum 3

Ok!

Whilst waiting for Ernest to fiddle with the article module (and maybe save me some work :P) I've made the smilies clickable. Please test the feature in your favourite browser.

Smile Wink Sad Biggrin }:) Blum 3 :O :? Dirol :jawdrop:

Yes, the one for adding an image looks goofy. It's just a placeholder.

Not another one! And here was me thinking my rudimentary javascript knowledge had worked! I need a JS expert to write the code, really.

how about bringing back prope

how about bringing back proper image linking ... i like to keep all my images i post in my server temp dir ... having image tags like yabb did would be much better for me (though keep the gallery ones aswell) Smile

im sure it would also reduce AF server load aswell if the images were remotely hosted ...

found the problem ... your JS

found the problem ... your JS is fine but you forgot to include the *actual* script on the reply page ... the buttons work fine on the new topic page Wink

so just add the script to the reply page and all will be well Biggrin
