Duo Keyboard

Again sorry about where this is placed, i didn't know where to put it.

Anyone thats used a powerbook duo(270c, 2300c is what i've used)will knhow about the annoyingly stiff keyboard. Is there any way of gettigng around this, i use my duos for word processing and to typoe with one of the keyboards is frustration> When i'm home i use a MiniDock and a ADB keyboard, But i cant do that when i'm out and about.
Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks....

Check wegenermedia.com . . .

. . . and order a handful of their 99¢ garage sale "Duo" KBDs. I ordered 10 and received one CHERRY Duo KBD and a very nice 9 piece assortment of 1XX and 5XX KBDs that were also near mint . . . too bad I don't have any of those 'books! =8-/

But that near mint Duo KBD is worth its weight in gold, so I'm a happy camper!

p.s. IIRC, maddog has a KBD fixup on his site and there's info/illustrated howto on one of the .jp Duo sites . . . "duozone" maybe? Both those sites OUGHT to be in the Links Project button in my sig . . . but might not be . . . dunno!

try looseing the screws on the bottem of the duo

Three screws hold the keyboard in place and if they are to tight the keyboard will be very stiff, check out a duo man. for more info if needed

MadDogs site . . .

I haven't found the other howto which addressed fixing the KBD's feel as yet, but look thru the DuoLinks® collection here: HackLinks: Tips & Tricks 1.0

It may or may not be in there . . .
