I'm dying here because my Mac SE just died and I want another! Can someone tell me where I can get one without using stupid ebay or other auction sites? Just an old-mac store type thing? MUCH APPRECIATED!

ebay is indeed your friend. My advice would be to make an email alert to notify you whenever an SE becomes available. This will let you shop aroound, and make a decision based on price, or shipping, or features or whatever you decide is best for you. Perhaps a buy it now with a decent shipping cost would work for you, Ebay rocks. Good luck.
My Mac SE is no longer of any use to me, so you may have it for shipping cost + $5.00 (to cover my packing it up for shipment) if you'd like. I can use a cheap shipping method like UPS GROUND if you don't want to pay a lot but also don't mind it taking 4 to 6 weeks to arrive.
My Mac SE is fully working - has internal SuperDrive and 40MB hard drive. Also has an 800KB disk drive attached. Comes with stock memory, I believe it was 4MB. I recently deleted all files from it, so you'll need to put System software back in. Otherwise it's good to go.
Let me know what you'd like to do.
Well, I just yesterday ordered a new logic board to fix the ailed one for an insane price :(... If only you had responded earlier (no offense).
Well, get this. I just got an email from the place "MC computers" from which a bought the logic board. I AM GUSHING with happiness because someone on this forum just offered me an entire new system for free (all I have to do is pay shipping!). Thanks Applefritter.com!
Ok ... So I guess my Mac SE is going to the local thrift shop.
This isn't a done deal! Just an offer I believe. Would you possibly hold it for another few days?
Woops in all my excitment I did't finish the first sentence. The email I recieved stated that they were "out" of SE logic boards. One again Arf the LAb, hold up!
Hmm. One week later and no one has e-mailed me to arrange shipping of the Mac SE. It would appear that the request wasn't serious. Now that I've allowed this SE to sit here for an extra week, taking up space, it has been dumped. Sorry if someone actually wanted it, but when you don't take action, you miss out.
