vmac on pocket PC

I don't know if anyone knew this, but you can finally get the vmac emulator for pocket PC. As someone who has a (boo) Microsoft Pocket PC phone (come on apple, make one!) I'm having a play around with it this week. I'll let you all know how I get on Smile (I'm just trying to get the ROM copied from the MacPlus Wink )

While I haven't seen anything

While I haven't seen anything done with Windows Mobile / Windows CE in much of anything relating to emulation, I have seen people getting BasiliskII running on a Linux PDA, one of those Sharp Zaurus PDAs. A few sites with pictures:

But with those phones, I'd say you're definately going to have two limiting factors, if not three. Screen size, storage for the HD image and ROM, not to mention RAM, and also CPU horsepower. A PDA is much more likely to be able to work this out, but a phone... eh, pushing it considerably. I'm sure it might be possible to some degree, I'd like to see how that turns out.

well - my phone is the Orange

well - my phone is the Orange branded M2000. It's got a 400 Mhz CPU and boasts 128 MB RAM. It's also got a great big screen so I should be okay. I know that I have to do *some* scrolling on it to get the scren resolution right - but I'm hoping I can tweak that. Smile

I've also got 1Gig of storage on that thing so I'll be okay for disc space Smile

Haven't done anything else other than get it to the old "blinking" system icon but I need to tidy the office before this G5 arrives so It'll be a while Smile
