Everytime I hear or read something that mentions the words "attacks on London," my interest piques. I think, "Could this be London, Ontario?" Invariably, it is not.
However I still have faith that the attacks will one day come and Blackburn Group will find itself under siege.
I read the thread title as "attacks on Landon" and thought it was yet another Steve Landon thread to be locked
I've been at the cottage for a week, and completely cut off from the news. I'll consider that a blessing.
I haven't heard much about the London bombings other than a brief bit of television news during a stop-over at my parents. Quite tragic news.
I simply can't imagine what it must be like for Londoners, and so many others the world over, to go through their daily routines of getting up, going to work or school, having lunch, etc., knowing that a little piece of Hell could happen at any time, right where they are.
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom, for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue, and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces, of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, sayin' "how do you do?"
They're really sayin' "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Oh yeah
