Terminal Doesn't work in OS X

So I installed John the Ripper on my mini mac because I made an account and I didn't remember the password. I installed it and it did a shell script sort of thing I think. Now that I have deleted, the terminal does not work any more. When I open it, this is what it says:

Last login: Sat Apr 23 18:52:47 on console
Welcome to Darwin!
/Applications/john-1.6.33/run/john; exit
/usr/local/bin/tf -n
Mynatron:~ zorgitron$ /Applications/john-1.6.33/run/john; exit
-bash: /Applications/john-1.6.33/run/john: No such file or directory
logout
[Process completed]

It won't let me type or anything? What can I do!? I want my terminal back

Where did you get your copy of JTR? That might help so someone could see what it does when it installs.
