Trying to figure out if I should trade my trusty and heavily upgraded 2400c. Looking for a decent iBook with a good battery. But I may just keep it. Anyways here's what it has:
Nu-Power G3 240mhz processor
64mb upgrade... but its recently been showing up as 32mb. Anyone know what's going on?
Cardbus upgraded
WiFi card (Orinico Silver compatible)
4gb hard drive
OS 9.1.1, Office 2001, Adobe Paint something or other, etc
Floppy drive
Hollow battery
And... I dyed the case blue on a whim after reading about it here. I guess I'll have to post some pictures.
I love the little thing, but the lack of a battery and no OS X can sometimes be a drag.
Email with any questions.

On the 5300 and its cheaper version the 190, the RAM cards had a strong tendency to pop loose out of there sockets. (Wonderful design - no retention mechanism, no screws, nothing. In a computer that was designed to be carried around.)
If you know how to get inside the 2400, I suggest you shut it down, disconnect the AC adapter and take out whatever battery you have (even if it is dead), and reseat (i.e. remove and then re-install) the RAM card. Plus, while you`re there, clean the contacts.
If you want to sell the 2400 let me know. And you will get more $$ selling the 2400 and the G3 upgrade seperately.
