Mac Board

I tried going to The Mac Board site. It doesn't come up. Is it gone? Did everyone come over here? anyone know what's up? Thanks.

It was taken down months ago. Tom is still active at the 68k MLA, though.

Mac Board gone?

WOW! What happened? I was a member over there and
would post occasionally. Was a great source of info
and news. Regrettably I haven't been there in quite
a while so I didn't know until browsing here that
it is gone. Why did it go away? They had a few threads
about older Apple computers and Macs.

Tom, I'm very much still acti

Tom, I'm very much still active here too!

We decided to close MacBoard down on the 1st of Jan because it wasn't really commercially viable to keep it running with so few members etc. Also I have been very busy and haven't had time to do any development work, so there was no chance of getting a site online (to draw more visitors). We may decide to relaunch it at some point, possibly later this year when I should have abit more free time, but ATM it's offline.

Mac Board

So....hopefully it's not GONE it's just sleeping for a while. I really hope you can bring it back as it was a great reference tool for me. Between AppleFritter and Mac Board these have been my sole resources of information about these computers. Will you be able to bring back the old posts like they have here at the 'Fritter? Or are they gone forever? Good luck on the "free time" as that is a precious commodity these days.
