I have a question and a problem?

I have a problem with G3 B&W 350 rev1, I want to give to a friend. I installed a Seagate 120GB HD with 8Mb and the machine is crawling. what could the problem be?

Now the question. I have a G4 400 AGP processor from a G4 400(duh) can I install that processor into the B&W?
