As a matter of fact, I was just going to ask about that. Are people interested in bringing back the irc channel? Meet you there for the keynote?

I thought I'd heard that they aren't webcasting it this year. What's the current official server for #applefritter anyhow? It changes way too much...

We need somebody who has wireless, so they can post to IRC while they're in. We also need somebody with a telephone, in case the access points are shut off.

Not me, I have a real job now and can't sit on my butt on morning watching the keynote. I was going to go, but my schedule is too busy next week.

My company has a booth there every show, and we usually send about 6-10 people. I'm asked every time if I want to go, and I counter with "Are you going to pay for my wife's airfare?" They have yet to say yes...

I'm sure that one day I will get them to break down and spend the extra money... besides, she could be a good "Booth Hottie"

Until then, I'll be on the cell with my boss as Steve-O is introducing what he thinks will be the next big thing...

If you ever do come out this way, drop me a line. As it is, I'm catching a nasty cold so I'm not going out next week probably at all except for our holiday party on Tursday night.

I'd like to request that someone keep a transcript of the keynote IRC, or whatever hapens to be the communication medium of use. I'll likely be at work most of Tues. so unless I'm in my truck and Rush happens to make mention of any Apple news, I'll be in the dark all day long.
