I've installed fedora on virtual MS's pee cee 6.1 but every time it comes to booting the kernel virtual pee cee displays an 'unrecoverable processor error' and forces me to reboot.
any suggestions?
Footnote:
You don't need to point out the fact that Fedora is not working on a microsoft application.
Actually Fedora Core isn't working on almost all of the VMS packages including VmWare. Virtual PC 4 even chokes on it.
The last version of RedHat to work in Virtual PC was 9 I believe. It's a well known issue.
So far, I have not been able to finish installation of any version of Fedora Core on physical PC hardware, much less Virtual PC.
I've been able to get fedora running on our pc servers at work and i found this site, http://vpc.visualwin.com/ which gives info on every windows / inux distro and its compatiablity.
