Hi, ive got a lovely yet battered WS G3 300 (9.2.2) with apple DVD, i thought i could read DVD-R's in it. It just tells me to eject or initialise them 8(
however 'proper DVDs' work great (and look great)
i'm not so bothered about watching 'dodgy' DVDS but it would be useful (transferring 5 Gbs of data over a 10Mbs network is boring)
i burnt the disc in Nero on pc in UDF and on a DVD-R...
any ideas?
Actually watching 'dodgy DVD's' would be great too
TIA :mac:

I have the same problem reading dvd-r on my imac g3 os 9.2.2 , did you find out anything, I have been searching for days not finding anything out about this.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I thought i had posted a really dumb question.
I've been away for the hols and i networked the data over...
So; no sorry.
odd there's nothing about it on the net, how have you burnt your DVD-r's?
good luck
