Help my friend buy a Mac. -Just for fun

So here's the deal. A friend of mine has had a little bit of trouble with a Dell laptop that he purchased on Ebay. I'm trying to steer him in the right direction and have suggested that he buy a powerbook. I thought it might be fun to have some helpful community feedback presented to him so that he truly will know what he is currently missing out on. The topic is currently being discussed on his LiveJournal and I would appreciate any feedback that you would like to give.
