yah, i remember those guys. About 3 years ago i was actually thinking of buying something there, pretty sad i know but an Apple ADB keyboard for $70 was a super-hard deal to pass up, dont ya think good ol' Sunrem, gotta love em'
were all I ever got from them, but there were good deals to be had for that sort of stuff. I mean stuff like HD brackets, CD face bezels, little stuff like that. A few dollars for genuine Apple parts, at the time tough to find anywhere. Now of course there's eBay.
They've got precious little of that anymore, mostly only generic bits nowadays. I guess they sold all the real Apple parts and then couldn't get no mo'.

Yeah, it is nuts. Just because they bought a whole pile of Lisas off of the dump when they were being "end of lined" is no reason to crank prices up.
Shreve Systems offers a much better price for almost everything, although obviously they screw you on things like monitors and rare(r) equipment.
Yikes, they may be the worst (IMNSHO!) out of all the longtime Mac bits vendors! I've heard so many unflattering stories about them I'm amazed they survived as long as they did. My own experiences with them (limited to be sure, based on their reputation) mirrored the many negative reports I'd read.
Disclaimer: this is only my opinion and experience, others may have good experiences with Shreve.

They've been overpriced for decades.
I was satisfied with my MP I bought from them years ago, butit was very expensive. We can't really expect eBay prices on a retail site.
