Wow is right. Check out this site: http://www.wowrobot.co.kr/Shop/index.php?var=Good&Good_no=234 (The link will take you to the Web site and download the 10MB WMV.)
This thing is amazing! The site is in Korean so I know nothing other than what the video shows (let me know if you can find an English translation), but it looks to be about 18 inches tall and is incredibly flexible.
From what I read on the Gizmodo article, the KHR-1 can be had for $1450 and "...can kick (soccer-style), shuffle step, pick itself up off the floor, and assume any number of badass fighting poses. All 17 different joints are powered by a single motor, and there is even software to pre-script the movements on your computer and play them back again and again." He even does a little disco dancing, and if you watch through to the end, the little guy even gives a decent military salute!

It's the Terminator's Mini-Me!
I found a bit more info on it:

I guess it's bigger than it looked in the video — 47.24 inches tall, 105lbs. Also, the name, KHR-1, stands for KAIST Humanoid Robot platform-1. And it looks like there is a KHR-2 under development. http://ohzlab.kaist.ac.kr/
Also, check out some of the other android robot projects going on around the world. Who'd have thunk it? :o
The one on the table is only about 12-18 inches tall. Its made up primarly standard R/C car servos. They are quite tiny.
That robot in the other link looks a LOT bigger than the one on the table on the first link.
I bet the one on the table only weighs about 2-4 pounds.
Is that a guess from what you've seen on the video? I thought that too, but after reading what was written about it on the other sites that are linked here, I'm really confused. Maybe somebody here with some extra cash can buy one & settle it for us.
