Lisa Misc Info
These papers describe some rather off-beat Lisa facts. This includes a picture of a wooden plaque which John Couch, head of the Lisa division, provided to Lisa developers. He called these people members of the “Lisa Club”. Mr. Couch was kind enough in 1992 to provide me with one of these plaques, thanks John! The “Videx” ad is here since it shows that companies besides Apple produced programs for the Lisa Office System (but only a handful total actually did this). The “Macintosh System 7” paper shows that the Macintosh Finder acknowledged its heritage by listing the names of the people behind the Lisa Desktop Manager. This acknowledgment existed clear into Mac OS 9 (I believe OS X today does not recognize the Lisa’s contributions to the Macintosh).
