WTB: processor upgrade for original G3 iMac, either retail or user-overclocked

Hi, all!

I've recently come into possession of what is my second G3 iMac, a Lime Revision D running at 333mhz. I used to have a Tangerine model running at the same speed, and loved it, and couldn't pass up the chance for another unit.

This is currently my only Mac, save for an iBook that I'll likely be getting rid of in a few weeks. That being said, I think the iMac is more than adequate for most tasks, as I mostly stick to OS 9. I've been tinkering with the system a bit, and cracked it open to clean it up, check out how hard it would be to switch the hard drive, etc. I have both OS X (Panther) and os 9.2.2 installed on the system, and while the processor handles OS 9 like a dream, OS X support is just a touch lacking. I'm looking to upgrade my processor as a result.

WANTED:

* iMac G3 "retail" processor upgrade - Powerlogix, Fastmac, Sonnet Harmoni, etc - in either a G3 or G4 config. greater than 333mhz.
Willing to pay: around $25 or so for a G3 in the 400mhz range
around $50 or so for a G3 in the 500-600mhz range
around $80 for a G4 upgrade

** OR **

* Someone to overclock my existing iMac G3 daughtercard, currently running at 333mhz
Willing to pay: $25 for a decent overclock (400mhz or so) and I will pay shipping costs both ways.

I will cover all related shipping costs, either shipping a unit from you to me or shipping my existing daughtercard to you, and back to me again.

This is a "project" computer, and the processor upgrade us not urgent. That being said, I am serious about a processor upgrade, and would be willing to pay for it. Please PM me if you have an upgrade for sale, or if you'd be willing to overclock my existing daughtercard. I'm flexible on what I'm willing to pay, if need be.

Can pay via paypal, shipping to 97401.

Thanks to all for looking! Help me out if you can!

Update

Hi again, everyone,

As an update to this original post, I've managed to OC my original iMac daughtercard to 400mhz. As a result, please disregard that last part of the above listing, regarding looking for someone to overclock my daughtercard.

I am still looking for a G4 upgrade, hopefully one in the 433 or 466 range. Like most other iMac fans on this site, I'd still like the idea of one day tracking down a Sonnet Harmoni card, or one that adds firewire. If anyone has any leads on one of those babies, please let me know!
