Been wanting to test my routers and bridges from my IIgs stuff. I just tested and reconfigured a GatorStar GX-R. The GatorStar GX-R is similar to the desktop GatorBox CS, but with a rack-mount form factor. It has a faster CPU (16MHz), 1MB RAM, 1MB EPROM, with an additional 24-port LocalTalk repeater (needs separate cable). There is one mini-DIN connector that serves the same circuit as the 1st LocalTalk port.
Loaded the latest firmware 3.0.x and configured the router through my Mac.
For descriptions of the different GatorBox models, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GatorBox
From my IIgs connected to the GX-R using LocalTalk cabling, I'm able to load the Marinetti TCP/IP stack, use the MacIP link layer, and connect my IIgs to the Internet.
Selling this for $60 shipped to the lower 48.
