iBook G4 motherboard in an iBook G3? (white icebook)

I have an old slow 500mhz G3 iBook (white icebook), and I was wondering if it is possible to put a G4 motherboard in it... Does anyone know?

Can you explain how they are different? Do they have a different shape or mounting screws or something? Different LCD connector?

Well I got ahold of a broken iBook G4 and I managed to cobble a working machine together from my iBook G3 parts... I'm happy with it. Smile
