hello,
I have a little homepage to old Apple Computers in german language at:

My latest guestbook visitor wrote this:

I love your sight. I have been pondering for a while if we should make an Apple I anniversary issue. What do you think?
email is sjobs@mac.com
Dear Mr. Jobs, is it realy you that wrote me???
I know it can be easy anyone made this posting at my homepage.
In case, that this is not a joke, I tell you, that your pondering should be executed!

I hate to be negative but Steve Jobs hated the Apple 1. He took them in for trade of an Apple II for half price or even exchange. He then cut the Apple 1's up with a bandsaw or gave them to engineers at Apple to hack on.
Now, what kind of anniversary issue would Apple make? Exact reproductions? How, why? This is of no interest to Apple, sorry.
Steve Wozniak on the otherhand likes talking about the Apple 1 and II and responds to emails when written to him.
You site looks nice.
Cheers,
Vince
I expect Jobs doesn't confuse his homophones, or post to blogs as himself.
But the real clincher it's fake is Jobs certainly never would be interested in an opinion other than his own.;)
*grin* hear, hear!
Agreed, nice website.

Do you store the ip address of your guestbook entries? This might give you a hint in case it matches apple's range of ip addresses.

No, I don't make a trace like Clifford Stoll!
If anyone want write some nice word's to my guestbook, then do it!
Please use any Name or Nickname you want.
But I think it is a bit childish to use a Nickname to known person's of the Silicon Valley like Jobs or Wozniak if you are not this person!

well it is childish as is childish to belive that Steve Jobs found your webpage and left a comment on ...
You're right my friend! Also childish to believe that Steve Wozniak write to my guestbook too, at April 15.
Anyway every comment is welcome and "nearly" every person.

Of course
Knowing what I've seen, I'd actually be inclined to believe The Woz would visit a site and sign a guestbook long before Jobs (at least, under his own name).
true, but only, if he would be invited to comment ... I just do not believe Wozniak searches the web at 6 am in the morning ::)
Oh, I dunno...maybe he had to get up early for some Segway Polo
