Hi all
Don't know whether I'm posting on the correct forum but ... I'm looking for a freeware password manager for Mac. Has anyone used one that they can recommend? Conversely are there any I should particularly avoid? It strikes me that this is a piece of software with potential for disaster if there are any that are not as secure as they say they are!
Any advice?

If you are running OS 9 of any flavor, you have one built into the OS called "Keychain." It is reasonably functional, though you may find the constant requests for authorization to be annoying.
This feature is also built into OS X.

Hi Drew
Yes, my system (OS X) definitely has some version of Keychain, but it doesn't seem to be an application where I can literally go in and find a password that is no longer automatically remembered on my system. How can I do that? In other words, the electronic equivalent of a "little black book" where I have passwords listed so that I can find them if, say, I need to enter them on another computer, or if I'm going to a site that I haven't visited for so long that I (and my computer) have forgotten the pw. For example, I hadn't visited applefritter for so long that I had to re-register as I had no idea what my old login name and pw were.
