wallstreet display cable

we're all familiar with the issue of the wallstreet displays going insane and requiring a good squeeze of the display bezel to repair it for a brief period of time. mine seems to be getting gradually worse at this, and i've been looking for new display cables. the 13.3" cable seems to be hard to find, but the 12" and 14" cables are much more abundant. are eithe r of those able to be used with the 13.3" display? same goes for hinges since mine are getting more freeplay as time goes on, and i plan to replace them very soon along with the cable.
