The ribbon cable on my Powerbook G4 that connects the hard drive to the mother board needs to be replaced, but I don't know who to contact to buy a replacement. Any ideas? (I don't know the part number either, as it is not printed on it)

I'am probably able to help with the part number, but then you should give the type of powerbook (M-number or cpu speed and screen size).

If you powerbook has a dual layer super drive => Hard Drive Flex Cable part n° 922-7121
Else => Hard Drive Flex Cable part n° 922-6685
These part are most likely the same, just a different number. (I'm not 100% sure, just 99%)
