Okay... i need a copy of the Mac System 7.6.1 Minitors control panel. (now, before you get all copywrite on me, i HAVE a copy of system 7, however it's in floppy form, and said floppies are long since degraded). If someone would be so kind as to email it to me, my email address is:
spuddude (at) comcast (dot) net
if for some reason, it's too big to email, i'd suggest using www.yousendit.com
thanks!
nevermind. i got my hands on it, and it dodnt do what i wanted. Anyone have any idea how to get my G3 MiniTower to use a TV hooked up th the AV card as an extended desktop?
Does it mirror it now? and what os are you running?
it mirrors, i want to use the TV hooked to the Full AV personality card to extend the desktop. Im running OS 9
Would an OS 7.5 control panel work?
i honestly dont know. I think it wont tho. The 7.6.1 version had the controls for arranging displays, but didnt show the TV as a 2nd display.
I don't know if you'll be able to. I have 9.2.2 on my Beige G3 and the only time I've been able to use a TV as extended desktop was with a seperate video card driving the main monitor. With a monitor hooked up to the built-in video, I was only able to mirrow the video onto a TV.
damn.
Hey umu, I think that rhooyki on macfourm found out how to fix that problem. In OS X anyways...

I can get it to mirror the display just fine, john, what im trying to do is turn on display spanning! Which, apperently i cant do unless i buy anoter display card for the main display.
Did Ryoohki's setup actually display a secondary image? I think he managed to get
something working along those lines.

It's over there somewhere. In the hardware forum I think.
Btw, if you ever want to get the Wings card working in Mac OS X, take a look at MacForum.
The community have some interesting projects in the works, and a Wings AV card setup is
completed and tested. And it works as well.
