Hi,
I just purchased my first Mac... A Mac Color Classic with the LC575 upgrade with 16mb ram and 250mb HD. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions once the unit comes in. I'm a classic computer collector & user, and felt it was time I got into the Apple Macintosh systems.
What I'd like to know is if anyone has or knows where I can obtain information on an Apple II/IIE hardware emulator for the Mac Classic. I heard that they exist, but can't seem to find any information on the item. Can anyone here point me in the right direction? Does anyone know what the emulator board was called at least?
Thanks
John
PS: I was also told a similar item was available for PC emulation. Is that true and if so does anyone have any info on that?
I need to update this sometime but it should help:

Thanks for the info. There is a lot for me to read and learn there. Now, I just have to find a place to buy the Apple IIe adapter.

If you'd be willing to pay shipping from the UK, it wouldn't take much to prise a IIe card (and the necessary Y-floppy cable) out of my garage.

Let me know how much shipping would be. I'm interested.
Thanks
John
