I have probably 20 old macs. Laptops, classics, pizza boxes... Momma wants them gone. Every one worked the last time I had them booted up. I really hate to fill the dumpster. But what can I do with them?? Of course, I know I will never recoup the money, memories or love. I would give them to the needy but Shipping the stuff is probably not worth anyone's effort. Any Suggestions?

Who needs my old Macs?
I'm sorry to hear you are losing some old Macs. I love collecting too. I bet if you post the list of them in the for sale, you can find new homes for all of them. I know Im interested.
(Email me the list first )
best,

yeah thats a shame. i would agree with dvsjr if u post an ad with the list in the forsale forum people will buy em. i am interested as well, get going and post that list
If you post your zip code it'd be easier for folks to determine if they're within pick-up distance of you.
The problem with exchanging these old Macs is that the shipping costs are usually more than the machine is worth.
I bought A/UX 3.01 recently on ebay, and spent a lot.
All the manuals, disks, CD in perfect condition. Now I have a boxed copy of every version of the Mac OS. By this I mean, what it is worth is what someone will pay for it. The old stuff is novelty, and hobbyists, not people looking to run excel, are the ones we are talking about.

If you could send me the list I'll see if there's anything I could get off your hands for you.
Thanks
