UniDisk Ejection Motor

Hello all... I just received an Apple IIC with an external UniDisk 3.5" drive. The mechanics of the drive work great after I cleaned up all the old lithium grease, and re-lubed it. I also replaced the plastic gear in the ejection unit with a new one I got from Ebay. The problem I'm having with the drive is with the ejection motor. It continuously spins and won't shut off. Any ideas? There may be other problems with the drive, but this is as far as I've gotten so far. Ideas? I don't know much about Apple products, but I'm learning.

There's a limit switch that's

There's a limit switch that's supposed to be toggled after a revolution of one of the eject gears. If the gear isn't in the correct starting position, then the switch may never be toggled. That's my guess. I've worked with this mechanism a few months ago, replacing that gear.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the limit switch, and the switch itself checks good. I would think that the limit switch if pushed would stop the motor from turning, and it doesn't. Toggling the switch by hand should indicate the disk has been ejected, and stop the motor? I think this is going up on Ebay as a parts drive. If I remove the eject assembly from the drive it the motor continuously runs even though the plastic arm on the top of the unit hits the arm on the limit switch. There are videos on you tube showing how to clean a undisk, and how to set the gear in the correct position. I followed those instructions, and it still doesn't work. This might be an Ebay auction for parts.
