Hi,
I'm trying to get my Style Writer II working on my LCIII under MacOS 7.6.1. I've tried a driver from macrepository but it seemed to kill my MacOS and I had to reinstall (19 floppy disks). Anyone have a driver that wont kill my MacOS?

You might want to try the StyleWriter 1500 drivers from here: http://download.info.applefritter.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/Printing/StyleWriter/
The 1500 drivers also support the original StyleWriter, StyleWriter II and StyleWriter 1200. They're also much newer (the ones at the link are from 1997) so they should have a better chance of working with 7.6.
I ran a StyleWriter II and a StyleWriter 2400 on 7.6 without issues. I also ran that portable colour StyleWriter on a 5300CS.
The drivers for them should be in the 7.6.x install. I am shocked that they are not and that you have issues, other than head and ink related woes.
